belakangan ini, entah kenapa rasanya Square Enix lagi sering kecipratan hal-hal yang... entah baik maupun buruk. 

Untuk pertama ini, berhubungan dengan Final Fantasy VII Remake. Sebelumnya, kita kembali dulu ke beberapa tahun silam, ketika FF VII Tech demo PS3 dimunculkan, lalu mulai hadir rumor bahwa akan ada FF VII Remake, dan dengan santainya mereka (SE) menjawab: "We're making no such game."

Beberapa lama setelahnya, ketika FF VII classic akan dirilis ke PSN, Tetsuya Nomura berkata: "Untuk saat ini, mainkan saja FF VII di PSN, lalu, barulah kalian bisa siap-siap untuk FF VII Remake (kelak).

Kemudian, beberapa waktu lalu, Tetsuya Nomura berkata "Tidak ada FF VII Remake untuk beberapa saat ini." 

And guess what?

“This issue is related to whether a Final Fantasy 7 remake will happen or not. It is very hard to make games on PlayStation 3 in the same style as the games in that era had. Making graphics will take enormous time.”

Conclusion: Mereka sebenarnya memang ingin membuat FF VII Remake, akan tetapi, mereka khawatir terhadap waktu pengembangan yang butuh waktu lama

Yang kedua adalah, our favorite controlversial FF game: Final Fantasy XIII. Banyak pihak yang bilang kalau game ini linear layaknya benang lurus. Lalu, bagaimana tanggapan developer FF XIII?

“We made the map and battles function as part of the story, so that players get the same feeling as the characters. To achieve this, we wanted the story to progress non-stop [in a linear fashion], until Chapter X*.”

Selain itu, ingat bahwa (katanya) kota di FF XIII cuma ada satu?
